Fancy a Morning out with a Mole Catcher

Spend a morning with a mole catcher where you can see our traditional skills in use. This is a morning out where you get the chance to check and set our mole traps.

We won’t spend time teaching you how to catch moles, this is not a mole catching course, but we will show you what we do while taking in some spectacular views of South Devon.

We expect to be on site for approximately 2 hours in various locations, this will involve walking in gardens or fields which will have various gradients. We recommend you bring a good pair of walking/wellington boots and waterproofs, we will still go if it is raining. We will be close to a vehicle if you need to rest, you will not be walking for the full 2 hrs. Long trousers must be worn.

There may be moles in the traps which have been dispatched, if you think this might upset you then please do not attend. If you would like to attend but think seeing a dispatched mole might upset you, we can make sure you don’t see any.

Unfortunately at the moment we are unable to take wheelchair users, the ground we work, weather conditions and mole locations restrict this.

Children are most welcome to come along, but must be fully supervised by an accompanying adult. Pushchairs or buggies are not allowed on any of our sites.

Pets are not allowed to attend.

We run mornings out every Tuesday and Thursday most weeks of the year. Please check the dates for availability. There is a maximum of 6 people per morning. Please contact us if you have more than 6 people.

A deposit of £20 per adult is required to secure a place, we do not require a deposit for children but do require you to make a booking for them. We will give you a full refund for any reason up to 18:00 on the Friday of the week prior to your booking, after this you will lose any deposit.

Payment in full is required before departing for the morning out.

Short notice.

Please contact us if you would like to attend one of our mornings out at short notice, we will always try to accommodate you.
